Corrosion Protection Care

Here are the ways you can help ensure your corrosion module continues to effectively protect your vehicle from corrosion.

  • If you purchased corrosion protection using the Final Coat E.I.C.C.T. corrosion module, its operation can be checked by pushing the ‘Power Test’ button located on the unit to illuminate the green light.
  • If you have replaced your car battery, ensure the green check light illuminates. If the green check light does not illuminate when the 'Power Test' button is pressed, please return to your selling dealer to have it corrected or replaced.
  • If you operate your vehicle in areas of heavy road salt usage, it is recommended that you flush the underside of the vehicle on a regular basis especially during the spring thaw.
  • Should you notice any corrosion on the warranted areas of your vehicle, read your warranty coverage to understand the level of coverage purchased and document the area with a date stamped picture of the damage. Return to your selling dealer to initiate a claim or go online to www.wrc-can.net.

Exterior Paint Care

Here are the ways you can help ensure your paint protection products continue to effectively protect your vehicle.

  • If you purchased an Exterior Protection product on your vehicle, avoid washing your vehicle for at least 7 days after taking delivery.
  • Never use dish soap to wash your vehicle. Hand wash your vehicle with a neutralized car wash soap, a soft wash mitt and then use a chamois and/or soft microfibre to dry for best results. Touchless car washes are an alternative to reduce potential swirl mark damage from brushes.
  • Bird droppings and insects can be particularly caustic to the finish of your vehicle. If you notice any of these on your vehicle's painted surface remove them as soon as possible using a car wash soap.
  • To remove tree sap, use rubbing alcohol applied directly and sparingly to a soft microfibre towel. Use the rubbing alcohol dampening towel, lay the damp section of the cloth on the tree sap to allow it to soften. Then gently push tree sap off the surface of the paint using a fresh area of the towel on each wipe. Once the tree sap has been removed, wash the area with car wash soap.
  • If after removing tree sap, bird dropping or insects and damage to clear coat or paint is noticed, return to your selling dealer to initiate a claim or visit: www.wrc-can.net.

Interior Care

Here are the ways you can help ensure your interior protection products continue to effectively protect your vehicle.

  • If you purchased an Interior Protection and experience a food or beverage spill on the warranted areas of your vehicle, blot up any excess and attempt to clean the area with warm soapy water.
  • If after attempting to clean the spill, and the stain remains, please return to your selling dealer to initiate a claim or visit: www.wrc-can.net.
  • Interior protection is not designed to caustic substances or dye transfer.
  • Interior protection is a permanent application that does not need reapplication after spills have been cleaned.
